Are You Posting Affiliate Links?
I see it all the time. People join some business and they think they have their own business.
So many people on Facebook, twitter, and other social media sites are just posting affiliate links in hopes that someone will join them.
The problem is, everybody is doing it and nobody is joining anybody, except for a few lucky ones here and there.
Imagine two people on each side of a house, each with a tennis ball.
They throw it over the roof at the same time and the two tennis balls meet in the middle over the roof and hit each other. It’s possible, but highly unlikely that you could make that happen on purpose.
It’s the same thing with Internet Marketing. Posting affiliate links for generating an income is going to be next to impossible. Connecting your business to a buyer is like the tennis ball scenario.
- First of all, just because you signed up to some online business, doesn’t mean you have a business.
- Secondly, if that business goes out of business, you have no business.
Even if you had a down line in that business, those people are gone, and you won’t be able to contact them for any other offers.
Your job as an online marketer constantly build your list and is to post your affiliate links in your email news letters!
What, you’re not sending out emails to your subscribers?! You don’t have an auto responder?
Ever heard the term “The money is in the list” No list = No Money!
Your list is your business. You can take it anywhere.
Your business is you, your brand, your style of writing content.
